About this site:
Starting half way through the fall of 1997 I started taking notes for my course reading by typing them on a computer. Since then I have had all these notes sitting around and nobody has been using them. I figured it would make sense to post them on the web so that others can take advantage of them. However, you should realize that these notes represent the material I did not find obvious, so much is missing! Also you should use these as a quick, initial reference source rather than instead of reading the material itself.
